      INGREDIENTS  

    anchovy stock

    • iv cups water
    • viii large dried anchovies, cleaned
    • ane half-dozen”ten vi” dashima (or kelp)
    • one garlic clove
    • 2 ounces sliced Korean radish (or daikon)

    • ane pound cylinder rice cakes
    • i/iii cup gochujang (korean hot pepper glue)
    • ii tablespoons saccharide
    • ii teaspoons gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes)
    • one tablespoon minced garlic
    • i/2 pound pre-fried, apartment fish cakes cut into minor triangles or strips
    • ii green onions cut into 2″ pieces
    • ane teaspoon toasted sesame seeds




      INSTRUCTIONS  

    anchovy stock

    •  In a pot combine water, anchovies, dashima, garlic clove, and radish. Simmer for twenty minutes.
    •  Strain anchovies, dashima, garlic, too radish from the pan.

    • Soak rice cakes inward H2O for thirty minutes (unless using fresh).
    • Add pepper paste, pepper flakes, sugar, too garlic to broth too stir together.
    •  Drain rice cakes too add together to spicy broth.
    • Stir everything together together with bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    • Continue to simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until liquid has thickened in addition to rice cakes are soft.
    • Stir inward light-green onions and fish cake. Continue to simmer for five minutes.
    • Remove from heat in addition to elevation with sesame seeds. Serve.


      NOTES  


    Reheating Instructions
